If you want to enhance the contrast of your design, spot UV coating may be a good option. This effect allows you to highlight a specific area with a super-glossy finish, while the surrounding areas are matte or dull. This requires you to create a file that indicates the area(s) you wish to apply the Spot UV Coating.

IN ADDITION TO SPOT UV COATING, WE OFFER SEVERAL OTHER FINISHES:

Aqueous Coating or Varnish:

These coatings are available in a gloss or matte/dull finish, and are a clear protective coating on top of the ink/s that provides some protection against smearing and scuffing

Overall UV Coating:

This coating is only available in a gloss finish that is much more glossy than aqueous or varnish. UV Coating provides protection against smearing and scuffing, but tends to show fingerprints on dark colors.

Lamination:

This material is available in gloss or matte/dull finish and is a layer of plastic on top of the printed sheet that provides the best protection.
